Donna is an independence native who has been artistic throughout life. At the tender age of 5 she could be found creating vast murals along the entire bedroom walls which were all of 3 feet tall. 

Donna grew up in the independence school system and was highly encouraged by her art instructors who helped develop her natural talents. She is now a full time medical specialist working towards an advanced practice nursing degree.

 She spends time painting with a focus on acrylic abstracts. Her style incoorperates vibrant colors in dreamlike settings. "For me painting is a way to turn reality into a colorful dreamworld". Donna continues to develop as an artist, "It's been several years since I was able to work creative, it's nice to have a place locally for artist to be expressive." 

Donna has had several pieces showcased as a student through ICC, and won best in show for a pencil drawing at the verdigris valley exhibition in the early 2000's.
